Why you need to sign the Petition
for America?
The American Poltical
System of Democrats Vs. Republicans has clearly
failed us and in recent time has failed us
miserably. We are now one of the most poorly
administered economies in the world as evidenced
by our DOWNGRADING of our sovereign debt by
Standard and Poors.
Standard and Poors
stated that never in their hundred years of
evaluating sovereign debt had they heard a
nation's leaders actually considering
default. NEVER, yet this is what we were
subjected to and it made our great nation the
laughing stock of the world. There will be
further downgrades of our debt if and unless WE THE PEOPLE take charge of the
situation.
IT BEGINS HERE
VIA THE INTERNET, our last and best hope for
Democracy, Real Democracy, Real Change in
America. The Internet allows We
The People to gather up as one and rally
around any issue we want and bring it to the
attention of the Government. Recent political
revolutions in the Arab world were made possible by
the Internet. We have not yet begun to use the
Internet for real empowerment of the American
People. This is the first of these changes in
our democracy that we must take advantage of today.
Armed with millions of committed American of like
mind, we can force the changes that we want as a
citizenry. We can and we must use the power of
the Internet to show them in Washington who is
really in charge. We The People are entire
reason and basis of our government. Thomas
Jefferson said, in the document that started out
nation, the Declaration of Independence, that
whenever a government attempts to counter to the
rights of the people to our pursuit of happiness, to
our rights to a viable economy, our rights to
control our own destiny, the people have the right
to change that government.
The Petition For America is the first major attempt
to rally the People around the BEST WAY to improve
our economy, create millions of jobs and begin the
process of cleaning up and managing our planet in
such a way that life can be preserved and sustained
for generations to come, the very needs of the vast
majority of people, so long ignored by the ordinary
political process we now suffer.
The Petition for America is necessary, because it is
the conclusion of this author that the two parties
in power today will forever ignore the common sense
rules and regulations that would benefit the
majority of people because they are now, and have
for decades, accepting billions of dollars in bribes
from the big corporations, and that the worst
offense in this area is the money they take from the
BIG OIL COMPANIES.
Big oil companies, such as BP, Exxon, Mobil, Shell
Oil, Valero, etc, have all delivered cheap gasoline
but at the cost of the destruction of our
planet. Big Coal is another example of the
worse environmental awareness. Yet, these
corporations, instead of being taxed enough for us
to be able to REPAIR THEIR DAMAGES, are instead
subsidized by those SENATORS and CONGRESSMEN whom
they have BRIBED.
When our Congress people retire from Congress
many of them are offered MULTI-MILLION DOLLARS
in phony JOBS by the corporations to whom they gave
so much.
This has to stop. The only way to stop it is
for the American People to come together and start
demanding REAL CHANGES to the system, changes that
they will not and can not ignore.
Please - IF you have not done so, IF you are a true
patriotic American - go BACK to the PETITION PAGE
and SIGN it by merely entering your name and email
address.
"Now is the time for all good
men to come to the aid of their country."
"And for the sake of
our economy, our security, and the future of our
planet, I will set a clear goal as president: In
10 years, we will finally end our dependence on
oil from the Middle East.
As president, I will tap our natural gas
reserves, invest in clean coal technology, and
find ways to safely harness nuclear power. I'll
help our auto companies re-tool, so that the
fuel-efficient cars of the future are built right
here in America.
I'll make it easier for the American people to
afford these new cars.
And I'll invest $150 billion over the next decade
in affordable, renewable sources of energy -- wind
power, and solar power, and the next generation of
biofuels -- an investment that will lead to new
industries and 5 million new jobs that pay well
and can't be outsourced.
America, now is not the time for small plans."
